Grok Bot gives SpaceXAI and Cursor subscribers autonomous agents that live on a persistent cloud computer, sign in to the apps you already use, and hand back finished work instead of suggestions.
Pros
- Each account gets a persistent cloud computer with a browser, a filesystem and a terminal, so bots keep working around the clock whether or not your laptop is open, and they operate inside ordinary web apps by signing in the way a person would rather than depending on an API existing for every tool. You can run several bots in parallel on different jobs and put them in one thread to hand work between themselves, and a bot can watch you complete a workflow once, save it as a routine and run it unattended afterwards. Access is bundled rather than charged separately for anyone already on an eligible plan: Cursor Pro at $20 per month, SuperGrok at $30 per month and Cursor Teams Standard at $40 per seat per month all include it, each with a weekly Grok Bot usage allowance. Security posture is unusually well documented for an early beta, with Cursor SSO, encryption in transit and at rest, training opt-out, an Auto Review step for sensitive actions, and DLP, certificate, proxy and network controls that enterprise admins can set at boot.
Cons
- This is an early beta and access is gated behind an existing subscription: there is no standalone Grok Bot plan, so you must already hold Cursor Pro, Pro+ or Ultra, SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus or Heavy, or a Cursor Teams seat. Every bot on your account shares one persistent cloud machine including its files, browser and logins, which is what lets them hand off context but also means isolation is per user and not per bot, so a bot that goes wrong does so with all your credentials in reach. The included allowance is described only as weekly usage with anything beyond it billed on token cost, and no rate for that overage is published on the page, which makes budgeting guesswork. Clients cover desktop on macOS and Windows plus iOS with no Android app mentioned, and team and enterprise availability is still waitlist-only.

Verdict
Best for people already paying for Cursor or SuperGrok who want long-running agents to grind through browser-bound busywork like inboxes, support queues and outbound; the shared cloud machine and unpublished overage rate make it a poor fit where per-task credential isolation or predictable billing matters.
